It’s Fall Drink Season at The Caffè by Mr. Espresso in Oakland
Fall is right here, and Oakland’s Mr. Espresso is elevating the bar with the introduction of seasonal chef collaborations. Host Sal Castenada talks to Luigi Di Ruocco and Chef Nelson German in regards to the first drink within the lineup, The Massive Apple, a spiced apple latte topped with coconut-cream foam that was created by Chef Nelson to honor his hometown of “The Massive Apple” and his Afro-Dominican roots.
The autumn drink promotion continues by Nov. 29, with drink specials that embrace the Brundo Spice Mocha from Daniel Aderaw Yeshiwas of Cafe Colucci; White Choke-late, which is made with sunchokes and white chocolate, from Abaca chef Francis Ang; and The Bussdown, a toasted marshmallow and candied candy potato latte from Oakland chef Mike Woods.
