Klatch Espresso Celebrates Ladies’s Historical past Month by Supporting Ladies Producers

Berkeley, Calif.-based roastery Bellwether Espresso has tripled its buyer base and expanded to 12 international locations because the launch of its all-electric, ventless Bellwether Store Roaster in 2024. “We have been paying wherever from $9 to $11 per pound for roasted espresso,” says Doug Hewitt, CEO of 1951 Espresso in Berkeley. “Immediately, these prices have considerably dropped (due to the Store Roaster), and we’re now paying nearer to $4 per pound. The financial savings have allowed us to reinvest in our wholesale, retail, and on-line channels to drive gross sales in new methods.”
